FAMILY PORTRAIT
The Walter Häcker family is the owner and operator of the 4-star superior wellness & spa hotel Fürstenhof in Bad Bertrich and the 4-star Häcker's Grandhotel in Bad Ems.
In 1989 the family took over the Kurhotel Fürstenhof in Bad Bertrich. After the country's privatization measures, the Häcker couple were able to purchase the house in 1992 and have renovated and modernized it privately over the past 30 years with the greatest personal effort.
In 1999 the Häcker family from the state of Rhineland-Palatinate was found as a new partner and operator for the historic spa hotel Bad Ems. As in the Kurhotel Fürstenhof, the Häcker family faced the difficult challenge of repositioning the spa hotel on the market.
In the last 20 years the Häcker family has managed to make the house attractive again with personal commitment for private guests who are looking for relaxation and to move guests to Bad Ems. In recent years, the historic building has also been embellished here, especially the room furnishings and the thermal baths & wellness area, so that the expectations of today's relaxation and wellness guests can be exceeded.
The family company is aware of its responsibility in the field of training young people and therefore trains young people successfully in all branches of the hotel industry beyond the normal range.
